*this track is about "Giants"-referred to as the Nephilim- the supposed offspring of the sons of God. There are biblical terms such as the "fallen ones" also in the bible. I wanted to write about 3 different perspectives.
first verse: being a tree during that time period.
second verse: being a part of the "fallen ones"- kicked out of heaven and escaping to earth.
third verse: a father who vows to look for his abducted daughter who was taken by a giant.

The Nephilim(lyrics)


I was a tree beneath the ground. Then the Nephilim cut me down-and took away the sound. That we used to-communicate with oak. When no one was around-that's when the branches spoke. As a wide web-invisible like smoke. The Nephilim revoked that ways of "mother nature" cloaked. From the roots up-potential were the clouds. We could of grown as tall as giants meant to stand so proud. Producing fresh foods, and oxygen for days. But the "fallen ones'-depraved had come to make the land a cave. To take some refuge-angelic wings were clipped. The sons of god had tripped to run away from sins-eclipsed. And banished from light. The heavens closed the gates. To the ones that posed as great-but mope and slither like a snake. In the grass tucked-you better ask what-Is the Nephilim before you get your ass struck...


I was an angel from the clouds-but I went against my God and looked at women in the crowd. With insane lust. Forbidden unallowed. Descending down dimensions went against of what I vowed. Turned away from-the one and only lord. When I mated with the sapiens-I could only hoard. Other wives and-we made some children to. Here's my son Goliath-and Leviathan in blue. And swimming from you. An abomination crude. I took my views for granted-miss enchanted skies I flew. And now I'm stuck here-with behemoth by my side. You can leave me while I hide-to the heaven's wave goodbye. And now my offspring-tower over peaks. Invading lands to conquer-to devour all the weak. And when they do speak. A rumbles what you feel. Taking men to crumble-as they fumble in the field...


I was a man upon the earth. When I saw a shooting star come down-I felt a wicked curse. On the land-and my daughter was a ghost. Taken from my home by "fallen ones' that roam like goats. And so I'll grab my trusty "shepherd's sword". Hunting down the giants with great faith I'm walking towards. For redemption-lord just give me strength. I'll walk a 100 miles-and search the sea to any length........
