I'm a fan of Daniel Johnston. I first heard of him on the movie KIDS-from the song,"Casper The Friendly Ghost." I liked the way he recorded-with just a piano, or an organ-on a tape recorder. This song was inspired, partly, by him. I just put the recorder near my piano-and this is what I came up with. My girlfriend accompanied me at the beginning of the song with backup vocals. I added some other sounds, and a bass line-so this one is for you, Kerby!
